I am the Public Relations Manager for Toastmasters International District 26 https://www.d26toastmasters.org/ which serves Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska as part of Toastmasters International.
I really enjoy telling stories that connect learners to content and I also really enjoy telling the Toastmasters story. I think this is a way to connect with our audience and a way for people to relate to Toastmasters everywhere. Prospective members can connect with and see the possibilities through my Toastmasters stories. Also, current members can learn, become better informed and tell their own stories.
I decided to jump into my first position, Social Media Chairperson, with Toastmasters because I wanted to learn more about social media and how I could create posts that reflected the diversity and inclusion of Toastmasters. I also hoped to inspire others to join Toastmasters for the immense opportunity to improve upon one’s communication and leadership skills.
